The Host: Actuarial Association of Europe (AAE)

The AAE, plays a pivotal role in representing actuarial associations across Europe. Its primary objective is to provide expert advice and opinions to various European Union organizations, including the Commission, the Council of Ministers, the European Parliament, and EIOPA, on actuarial matters related to European legislation.

With 38 member associations across 37 European countries and a collective representation of over 29,000 actuaries, the AAE’s influence is substantial. Importantly, the advice and comments provided by the AAE are entirely independent of industry interests, ensuring that the European actuarial profession’s voice is heard loud and clear.
