AI literacy is no longer optional for actuaries. But who is going to teach them?
AI is becoming integral to actuarial work, but actuaries need more than technical AI skills. They must understand its risks, limitations and governance. The challenge is how to build this expertise among professionals who qualified before AI became part of actuarial education.
